Redang Island

Redang island or Pulau Redang is one of the largest islands off east coast Malaysia.

The white sandy beaches, crystal clear blue sea water and beautiful underwater world is the major attraction and many tourist come to diving and snorkeling.

The film Summer Holiday was filmed at Laguna Redang resort where it attracted more tourist to visit the island.

I been to Redang with my friend few years back and we stay at Berjaya Redang Resort. Berjaya Redang has their own private beach just for their customers.

The island is also one of the conservation site for sea turtles.

Besides that, you cannot miss out the sunrise or sunset in this island. 

Recently the news reported that some area of the island have been closed to protect the coral.

Redang were temporarily marked off-limits to divers until end of October.
